Infrastructure, software and processes are increasingly merging to become integrated services and solutions that simplify work and deliver new business models. This study takes a closer look at the influence that the increasing use of these technologies has on the world of work. The topic is examined at several levels: for the economy as a whole, for individual enterprises and for individual jobs.“LIFE 2 – Working Connected in Business and Society” is the second study in the “LIFE” series of studies which look at new trends in telecommunications.
