Working people and families with young children appreciate the benefits of IPTV.
Above all, working people and families with children appreciate the advantages and flexibility offered by IPTV. IPTV users might not be able to stop time, but they can start their television show when it suits them: Almost two thirds of people surveyed (60 percent) with children under five years old love this function. 58 percent of working people are satisfied with the easy programming. As many as 85 percent of IPTV users – that is, those users who have already tested the feature, rate it as useful. Hardly surprising, when you consider that one in four (26 percent) television viewers has been aggravated at least once because their video or DVD recorder did not record their show, or misrecorded it. The option of only giving certain family members access to particular channels is especially well received by people surveyed with young children (58 percent). One in three working people (35 percent) and more than one in two IPTV users likes the possibility of renting movies from an online video library, thereby avoiding the hassle of picking it up and taking it back. The idea of getting recommendations based on preferred television shows is considered useful by one in three (37 percent) people surveyed, and by every other IPTV user (50 percent). Quickly using your cell phone to program your television or record a show while on the move is already appealing to one in six people surveyed, one in three IPTV users (36 percent) and one in four people surveyed with young children (24 percent).
