For two out of five Germans (40%), price is still the most important criterion in selecting their mobile network provider. But for around a quarter (23%), the quality of the mobile network is crucial, and for every fifth person questioned (19%), it is service quality that matters most. Men and women also have different needs when selecting their mobile network supplier: whereas women find price and service the most important points, men – true to their reputation – pay more attention to network quality, and twice as many men as women use the network speed as a selection criterion.
Incidentally, most of the customers interested in quality and service opt for Telekom: the quality of the network is crucial for every third person (36%) in this group, whereas the price plays a role for only a quarter of this segment.
