I expect from a good mobile network
Being able to phone wherever you are is part of the basic provision for almost all those questioned: 91 per cent of Germans expect continuous reception and good voice quality from a good mobile network. For every second person questioned, stable and quick access to the Internet is also part of a good mobile network.
For mobile Internet users – according to the survey this corresponds to 13.2 million Germans – this figure even rises to 80 per cent.
The great expectations are accompanied by a strong awareness of the value of a good connection. Groups which require a fast mobile Internet connection especially often are much more prepared to pay more for better network quality. Thus good network quality is worth an extra charge for 34 per cent of the younger people asked (14-39 year olds). For users of the mobile Internet, the figure is even 37 per cent. Every fourth person surveyed (25%) is prepared to pay a higher price for improved network quality.
