METHODS USED
The survey was carried out by TNI Infratest, commissioned by Deutsche Telekom in July 2010. Those surveyed included the German-speaking population in private households aged 14 and over in Germany. In the course of 3003 computer-assisted telephone interviews, smartphone users and nonusers were surveyed, whereby the proportions were representative of a cross-section of the population in Germany (357 interviews with smartphone users, 2,646 interviews with non-users).
